    EmeraldPitch.com was started in August 2008 by Joel DuChesne and Nathan LeMesurier, fans of Seattle Sounders FC, US Men's National Team, and the sport in general. Joel and Nathan, along with Stefan McIntosh are co-owners of Luminous (creative company, est. 1997) and Rocketship (website creation software company, est. 2007).
